Oralite Magazines

There is a lot of talk about Oralite mags, but they were very unpopular and you will be hard-pressed to find a photo of one in use by an IDF soldier. If you do find a photo, it is unlikely to be a front-line soldier. I recommend skipping these for an IDF build.

Oralite magazines were not popular and see very little use.

For an IDF clone, I would stick with surplus USGI mags or E-Lander Steel mags. A combination of the two looks good. The E-Landers look good with the Israeli markings, but the coating is so durable it is really tough to make them look worn. Skip the Oralites. Don’t use Pmags, Lancers, Troy, or any other mags like that – they are great mags, but look out of place for our purposes.
